Fascinating Irishs, read interesting old Irish history believed by many worldwide!

Irish myths and legends are some of the most well known Irish stories read worldwide, the Irish myths and legends are derived from actual historic events becoming myths and legends over years and years from the Irish people exaggerating the stories. There is a lot of interesting history in Ireland part myth and part fact that make fascinating reading. For me i find the myth side of these many stories is the most interesting as it makes us wonder and think,

"WHAT IF!!"

Who knows maybe Ireland does have fairies, leprechauns, the banshee and all sorts of other mystical ghostly figures. There are literally thousands of accounts documented over hundreds of years from Irish people and families that have witnessed the sight of Irish mythical creatures that everyone identifies Ireland with.

For me as an Irish man i am proud of all the historic landmarks and love the myths attached to there story, it makes it more interesting and fascinating for me to learn more of the Celtic history of Ireland so as to get a better understanding of what makes me Irish and why other people from around the world are so interested in this beautiful country.

I myself have heard alot of stories from people (family and friends) and have had my own sister scare the S**T out of me when one night she swears to have seen and heard the banshee. I got chills down my spine as she was telling me, i believe her because 5days after that there was a death in the family (my granny passed away.)

Don't just take my word for it though read a few of the more popular Irish myths and legends below and read for yourself what makes Ireland so fascinating and why people from everywhere want to visit Ireland and learn our history !

Ireland has some of the oldest landmarks known to man, NEWGRANGE (older than the pyramids), TARA HILL and THE STONE OF DESTINY to name a few, people worldwide are taken aback by these remarkable landmarks situated all over the country and as they learn the myths and legends of Ireland they become more interested in Ireland as a whole
